Privacy Policy

Never Wait Again ("the app", "we") helps people in NYC see how crowded local spots are in real time. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have.

What we collect

• Location — only when you tap the "locate me" button on the map. We use it to center the map on your current position. We do not store your location on our servers.
• Camera and photos — only when you choose to attach a photo to a crowd report. The photo is uploaded to our storage so other users can see it on the spot's page.
• Push notification token — when you install the iOS app, your device's push token is sent to our server so we can notify you when a spot you follow gets quiet. The token is not tied to your identity.
• Email or phone number — only if you sign up for alerts. We use it to send you the alerts you asked for and nothing else.
• Crowd reports — the crowd level you submit (1–4), the spot it's for, and an optional comment or photo. Reports are anonymous.

What we do not collect

• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

How we use what we collect

• To show you the right map and the right crowd levels.
• To send you the alerts you opted in to.
• To improve the app — for example, spotting and removing spam reports.

Who we share it with

We use the following service providers to operate the app. They handle only the data needed to do their job:

• Supabase — database and storage
• Vercel — application hosting
• Anthropic — AI processing of crowd reports
• Twilio — SMS alerts (only if you opt in)
• Apple Push Notification service — push delivery

Your choices

• You can revoke location, camera, photo, or push permission at any time from your iPhone's Settings → Never Wait Again.
• You can unsubscribe from email or SMS alerts using the link in any message or by emailing us.
• You can ask us to delete your data — email neverwaitinlineagain@gmail.com and we'll do it within 30 days.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we'll update the effective date above and surface the change in the app.
